- Floods = 85% of Malaysia’s natural disasters since 2000 – the climate crisis is already here.
- 2021 saw 8 major floods – displacing families, destroying homes, and devastating lives.
- Animals are the forgotten victims – abandoned in shelters with no protection or evacuation plans.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
- Install flood barricades at the animal shelter to enhance flood resilience.
- Raise awareness of flood preparedness in animal shelters through social media platforms.
- Offer critical short-term funding to the animal shelter for flood preparedness.
